Identity Matters is project that started with a series of portraits which evolved into illustrations and eventually a series of sustainable fashion campaigns. The project was aiming to break stereotypical views surrounding young people of colour in the UK. Highlighting the importance of history and heritage as foundations for knowledge of self. As seen on BBC Bristol and MANDEM (Mandem Article)
The initial title for the BBC article was "Young Black Men "Shatter" Stereotypes", I liked that title felt more fitting.
